Ardmore

Ardmore is reputed to be the oldest Christian settlement in Ireland. St Declan arrived there some time between 350 and 450 A.D.

In the course of an enjoyable and relaxing stay in the Cliff House I scraped together a couple of hours on a Sunday morning to put together these few sketches of the ruined church adjacent to St Declan's well just a hundred yards out the door.
